League Two side Crawley Town have parted company with Colin Kazim-Richards after around seven months in charge, with Julian Gray and Erdem Konyar also leaving.
League Two side Crawley Town have officially announced that they have parted company with head coach Colin Kazim-Richards. The 40-year-old former Turkey international, appointed in March 2026, spent approximately seven months in charge at the club. As well as Kazim-Richards, the English club confirmed the departures of assistant coach Julian Gray and director of football Erdem Konyar.
In a club statement, Crawley said Colin Kazim-Richards and Julian Gray had left their roles with immediate effect. The statement stressed that the pair took over the team during a difficult period last season and played a key role in preserving the club's place in the English Football League (EFL). Erdem Konyar, who returned to the club last year, was also thanked for his efforts, and all three were wished success in their future careers.
Crawley Town was Kazim-Richards' first senior job as a head coach, and he averaged 0.95 points per game across the 21 competitive matches he took charge of. Under Kazim-Richards in the 2026/27 season, Crawley played 14 competitive games, recording 3 wins, 2 draws and 9 defeats. In League Two, they managed just 1 win from 10 matches and collected only 5 points.
During his playing career, Colin Kazim-Richards turned out for major clubs including Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Bursaspor, Feyenoord and Celtic before retiring from professional football at Fatih Karagumruk in 2023. The former international then spent time as a coach in Arsenal's academy before taking charge of Crawley Town in March 2026.
