Raphinha, who has made a blistering start to the season at Barcelona, has signed a new contract with the club.

The Brazilian star, in superb form since the start of the season, has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at Camp Nou until 30 June 2030. The club announced the agreement on 5 November; Raphinha's previous contract was due to expire in 2028.

Since joining Barcelona in July 2022, Raphinha has made 190 appearances in all competitions, winning 3 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.

In the Champions League on Tuesday (3 November), Raphinha found the net twice against Aston Villa to star in a 3-0 win, lifting Barcelona to 5th place in the 36-team league phase.

Since his first appearance in the competition in September 2022, only Harry Kane (51), Kylian Mbappé (45), Vinicius Junior (41) and Erling Haaland (39) have recorded more Champions League goal involvements than Raphinha (37 – 23 goals, 14 assists).

Raphinha, who is his team's top scorer this season with 19 goals in all competitions, has converted big chances for 16 of those goals.
