Betting Investigation Rulings Announced: Ertuğrul Doğan Handed 45-Day Suspension
The TFF has announced its rulings on those referred to the PFDK over betting activities, with Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan handed a 45-day suspension.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced its rulings concerning the individuals referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) on the grounds of betting activities. Under the decisions, Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has been handed a 45-day ban from all football-related activity.
A total of 10 figures connected to Trabzonspor received the same sanction, while Beşiktaş's Kerem Gürel was also among those penalised. As for the Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray figures referred for disciplinary action, it was ruled that there was no grounds for imposing any penalty.
According to the decision published by the PFDK, alongside Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan, Zeyyat Kafkas, Murat İskender, Taner Fikret Saral, Şenol Kaynar, Abdulkadir Ferda Başkan, Semih Hekimoğlu, Derviş Köz, İbrahim Şahinkaya and Ceyhun Eskici were each handed a 45-day ban from all football-related activity.
