Hakimi plays down Le Havre masterclass: "It wasn't the game of my life"

Achraf Hakimi scored a hat-trick and provided two assists as Paris Saint-Germain beat Le Havre, but insisted he has played better games in his career despite his historic performance.
Ligue 1 leaders PSG claimed a 5-1 victory at the Stade CMA CGM Océane, with Hakimi the standout figure. The capital club's other goals came from Mika Godts and Senny Mayulu.
Luis Enrique's side fell behind to Josh Maja's 18th-minute goal, but quickfire strikes from Godts and Hakimi sent PSG into the break ahead. Paris took complete control after the restart, and Hakimi completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute after an elegant free-kick goal.
The Moroccan star became the seventh player since the 2006-07 season to be directly involved in 5 goals in a single Ligue 1 match. Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Edinson Cavani, Kylian Mbappé, Memphis Depay and Carlos Eduardo had previously achieved the feat. Hakimi is also the first defender to reach that mark. The experienced right-back, who had never been involved in more than two goals in any of his previous 135 league appearances, remained modest despite his historic display.
"No, this wasn't the game of my life," Hakimi said after the match. "I think it was a great performance and I'm very happy to have scored my first hat-trick. But there are games that were more emotional and affected me more. I'm delighted with the win. I've been playing at this level for a long time but I wasn't scoring. When I scored goals here, people thought it was an incredible game; I think I've been at a good level since the start of the season anyway. I help my team in every area, and in this game it was with goals. I'm happy with my level and I hope to keep it going."
PSG's ninth consecutive win in all competitions is their second-longest winning streak under Luis Enrique. The Parisians extended the run without injured forwards Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while in-form Désiré Doué started the game on the bench.
Hakimi captained the side in the absence of the injured Marquinhos and handed the armband to Warren Zaïre-Emery when he was substituted. Asked whether he felt he was carrying an extra burden because of the absentees, he said: "No, we are a team. Important players are injured, but as a whole team everyone has to give a little more. PSG is a team above all else."
