The World's Biggest Football Agencies in 2026: The Top 20 by Roster Value

Methodology and the Big Picture

This ranking compares the agencies in the fmag.tr directory by the total market value of the players they represent. In other words, an agency's size is measured not by how many players it has on its books, but by the combined value of those players in publicly available roster data. As of 2026, the top 20 agencies represent a total of 5,171 players, and the combined value of those rosters reaches roughly €19.3 billion.

The country breakdown is the most striking part of the table: 7 of the 20 agencies are based in the United Kingdom. Germany, Spain and France each have two agencies on the list; the United States, Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland and Italy are represented by one each.

Two different business models sit side by side on the list. At one end are volume-based operations such as THE·TEAM with 968 players, where the average value per player is €2.8 million. At the other end, Gestifute manages a €1.8 billion roster with 117 players, an average of €15.5 million per player. The overall average across the top 20 is roughly €3.7 million per player.

What the Table Tells Us

The geographic spread shows a clear centre of gravity: more than a third of the top 20 are based in the United Kingdom, and those seven agencies have a combined roster value of €7.7 billion. From continental Europe, Germany, Spain and France are represented by two agencies each; Portugal, the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy by one each. From outside Europe there are only three agencies: THE·TEAM from the US, Bertolucci Sports from Brazil and HCM Sports Management from the United Arab Emirates. No Turkey-based agency features in the 2026 table.

The numbers make it easy to tell two business models apart. In the volume model, THE·TEAM, CAA Stellar, CAA Base, AS1, Gersh, SEG and ProStar each represent more than 350 players and spread the value across a broad base; the average per player ranges from €1.2 million to €3.5 million. In the boutique model, Gestifute, Bertolucci Sports, Sport Cover, Roc Nation Sports and ROOF work with fewer than 150 players and carry more than €8 million in value per player. Both models can make the top 10: Gestifute is third with 117 players, Bertolucci eighth with 85.

Another feature of the table is concentration. At agencies such as LEADERBROCK, Elite Project Group and GR Sports, a single player accounts for 20 to 35 percent of the roster value. For these operations, the course of one contract can directly affect their position on the list; at agencies with broad rosters, the ranking does not hinge on a single name.

Values are the sum of the market values of the players in the agencies' publicly available roster data, as of October 2026. Contracts not listed in the directory are not counted.
