Ertuğrul Doğan makes striking refereeing remarks ahead of Beşiktaş derby

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan shared his views on the latest talking points during a live broadcast ahead of his side's crucial derby against Beşiktaş. Turning to the subject of refereeing before the match, Doğan claimed that Trabzonspor are the club that has been wronged the most in the league.

Stressing that the referee should not overshadow the contest in the derby, Ertuğrul Doğan said: "Let it be a match where no one is wronged and the referee doesn't get involved. I saw the reaction on social media when the referee was announced. I know very well why that is."

Continuing his criticism of refereeing decisions, the Trabzonspor president said: "Among the four big teams, the side that has suffered most from refereeing errors is Trabzonspor, by a distance. After us comes Beşiktaş."

Doğan also expressed his belief in victory against Beşiktaş and issued a call to the club's supporters: "I am sure that together we will once again enjoy a wonderful victory. I am expecting all our fans at the match."
